Is to bring the joy of dancing into the Studio and give every child the opportunity to dance with ease and grace, incorporating skills acquired in dancing classes into many other aspects of their lives

Rowan Academy Of Dance remains the only dance school in both our teaching areas (Banbridge and Kilkeel) which is a CDMT recognised school meaning all policies and procedures are up to date and in place.

Setting The Standard
From opening Rowan Academy Of Dance the school has grown, improved and advanced greatly through much hard work and dedication from mother and daughter, Eleanor and Emma Cochrane.
We want to convey our love of dance to our students through many different types of performances, competitions, examinations and charitable events. We believe our students become part of our extended family.
Our teachers always take into account every young person’s aspirations and it is our belief that our success thus far is due to the high quality of professional and individual tuition given to each child in every class.

Passionate about training
Eleanor and Emma are fully qualified teachers in Progressive ballet and Acrobatic Arts and Both are teachers and examiners of The Professional Teachers of Dancing.
As a dance school we are passionate about training and educating young dancers to a high level of technical skill and artistic interpretation of dance in a safe and welcoming environment.
